eCourse
Depending on the registered licensing course, a mandatory eCourse is required by the Department of Motor Vehicles. On the day of course, present a copy of the valid eCourse to the instructor either by printout or an image on a cellphone, which is only valid for 30 days prior to the course date.
"ePackage 1" eCourse
This "ePackage 1" eCourse is a free, 5 hour mandatory online eCourse assigned to students who are taking the
MSF Basic RiderCourse or the
MSF 3-Wheel Basic RiderCourse for the
MSF Course Completion Card. It consists of 20 sections with about 8 questions each and corresponding videos, for approximately 160 questions total. The course must be completed at home within 30 days of your course start date. The "ePackage 1" eCourse does not need to be done in one sitting and you can start and stop unlimited times. Instructions on how to access the "ePackage 1" eCourse will be emailed to you after you register for the course.
This "ePackage 2" eCourse is a free, 4 hour mandatory online eCourse assigned to students who are taking the
MSF Basic RiderCourse 2 - License Waiver for the
MSF Course Completion Card. The course must be completed at home within 30 days of your course start date. The "ePackage 2" eCourse does not need to be done in one sitting and you can start and stop unlimited times. Instructions on how to access the "ePackage 2" eCourse will be emailed to you after you register for the course.
