MSF Basic RiderCourse

Get trained, get licensed. The FAST TRACK to motorcycle licensing!

This 2-day licensing course helps students learn skills such as straight-line riding, shifting, turning, swerving and stopping (including making quick stops). Motorcycles are provided. Upon successful completion students will be given a Course Completion Card, which when presented to the DMV will waive the need to take the DMV Road Test.

Course Highlights:

• ePackage 1 eCourse: is a free, 5 hour mandatory online eCourse that must be completed at home within 30 days of your course start date. The eCourse access directions are included in the registration email.
• Training Hours: 10 hours of training on our practice range at a MSS location!
• Course Completion Card can be redeemed at the New York State DMV for the motorcycle license! Students must successfully pass the skills exam. If the skills test is failed on the first try, 1 free retest is allowed.
• MSS Course Graduates: receive special offers on the Graduate Discounts page!

**If only interested in MSF Basic RiderCourse:

• There is no guarantee that every student can operate a motorcycle and meet the course objectives in the allotted course time, even though it is a beginner course.
• Therefore, it is recommended, but not required, to prepare for the course by taking additional training such as a Private Lesson or Motorcycling 101.
• This additional training reduces the chance of being unsafe, counseled-out and forfeiting the tuition.
• If a student becomes a danger to themselves or others; that student will be counseled out and must leave the course early. No refunds or rescheduling options are given to students who are counseled out.
  English as a 2nd Language (ESL) student: If English is not your first language, you can bring a translator. If you are unsafe due to language comprehension, there are no refunds or rescheduling, and the tuition is forfeited.
